I don’t like the “this content is tiresome to make so it’s good to have the machine handle it” argument. If it’s that tiresome to make it might be tiresome to play through, have you considered cutting it?

Blender is so cool! I found it overwhelming the first few times I tried it but, much like game dev, it gets easier each time you come back. I used gamedevtv's Complete Blender Creator, and I recommend Imphenzia on youtube also. Making low poly stuff with his colour palette method is very rewarding
