It is a superficial cut!

I mean, everyone needs money, but I think you mean the excessive accumulation of it and incredible exploitation of the labor. In that, I wholeheartedly agree.

Yeah, I know, but if you want to achieve the same results as LS in Stripe, they charge WAY more. Either that, or you'll end up reconciling payments by yourself or hiring an accountant to do it and depending on your transaction volume, it can eat quite a bit of revenue.

I wonder if a model for simple outline drawings would be small enough to embed in the users' browsers and run locally. You could have a look into that.

I'm honestly thinking that Stripe is sabotaging it after the acquisition, to have you pay their exorbitant fees.
December 7, 2024 at 2:27 PM
I really want to give it a go and advent of code sounds like a really good starting point!
December 7, 2024 at 2:25 PM
Thanks for your service.
December 7, 2024 at 2:23 PM
That makes more sense, thanks for clarifying. I wish I had space (and money, realistically) for such a neat setup!

Because the rightmost screen is perpendicular to the main monitor, so if you want to use it and type on the keyboard at the same time, you'd have to keep your body facing the main and your head turned 90 degrees. Or I'm completely missing something, like the mini PS One, and that's just for consoles

God dammit. Haha

I was out of characters, your honour, I swear!

It is though and it's not about the specific word, it's about the whole actions beyond words. "I would rather you not do that" -> if the child does it again, you ain't doing shit, again
"Don't do that or there will be consequences" -> if they do it again, consequences happen and lessons are learned.

Your poor neck!
December 7, 2024 at 10:19 AM
Dude, you got all your hair, you're good.
December 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM
You just leaked my email!
December 7, 2024 at 9:55 AM
Because it's never our code that doesn't work, it's always the OS's or hardware's fault!

"we're sorry we got exposed"

Fucking hell, I was already laughing and then I saw the community notes hahaha

Mate, I'm Italian, don't tell me about pineapple on pizza or I might use the Geneva convention as a to-do list!
December 7, 2024 at 9:05 AM
Yeah, but BlueSky has blocklists and actual moderation, so they cannot spread like wildfire.
December 6, 2024 at 8:54 PM
Then it's a half-assed library/framework. Haha
December 6, 2024 at 8:51 PM
I mean, they're kinda the same thing, but yeah, not cool.
Also, I agree.
December 6, 2024 at 8:49 PM
Thanks!
I also read that it's not tree-shakeable and doesn't have an ESM export, but I cannot confirm. It feels like a half-assed release... Or library/framework as a whole.
December 6, 2024 at 8:45 PM
That's fair enough. Even a gut feel can stop us from doing certain things sometimes. I find myself enjoying working more now using Solid than when I used React (in Next.js). I think React is overcomplicating things by chasing SSR at all costs and makes it less enjoyable, hence the JSX dislike, maybe
