Day 13 - Delicate - IsoKania
"It is beautiful, Isolde, and suits you well." The voice of a woman compliments, simply admiring her friend as she looks at herself in the mirror. A veil of white adorns her head, woven with intricate details of flowers and butterflies, small gems attached along the edges. The lady in white was silent as her reflection smiles back at her. Small adjustments, and the crystals ring against each other. A move to the side, and the mirror catches sight of the doctor who stands behind her. The world around her goes into a blur except for her. She takes off the veil and spins to meet her face-to-face. "...?!" Kakania's eyes widened in surprise as Isolde extends a hand towards her, the veil flowing freely in her grasp. She says nothing as she takes it. A tug, and the two find themselves standing close together on the small elevated platform. "Isolde, what are you thinking?" She asks softly. The singer looks into her eyes and simpers, flourishing the veil over their heads. The delicate cloth embraces their heads together, and in this world of white and faded reality, there is only them. "...I was thinking...how beautiful it looks on you too, Doctor." Neither shared another word after as they hold each other close, leaning their foreheads against each other's. The silence, their breathing fills, and in this moment, body-against-body, there is tender warmth. The doctor wraps her arms around the singer's waist, attracting a delighted hum from her. In a hushed voice, she finally responds, "You are too kind, Isolde. Perhaps I should purchase a similar piece to match." "Oh, I would love that, Kakania." The singer whispers back. "But I am buying mine for a performance. On what occasion would yours be for?" At this, the Doctor withdraws slightly and smiled. "Only time will tell, my dear."
