We believe that the new subtitle better reflects the Journal’s long history, which is rooted in a European tradition of public finance, but also better reflects the high ambition of the Journal.

On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of FinanzArchiv, the editors, the advisory board and the publisher have decided that its subtitle should be changed. From 2024, the official name is FinanzArchiv – European Journal of Public Finance.
