Saints were unbeaten in six consecutive away league games against Aston Villa between 2013 and 2020 but have lost their last two visits here by an aggregate score of 5-0. Those two are the only visits I've made, too.

Sam Amo-Ameyaw is just 18 years old and has plenty of time yet to make his mark, but I find it difficult to see why the likes of Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ben Brereton Diaz are getting chances again and again while he only watches from the bench. Give him the experiences - good and bad.

Sam Amo-Ameyaw is just 18 years old and has plenty of time yet to make his mark, but I find it difficult to see why the likes of Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ben Brereton Diaz are getting chances again and again while he only watches from the bench. Give him the experiences - good and bad.

Thought Saints were really, really poor in the first half but they improved massively after the break and deserved their point.
A real shame that VAR will dominate the talking points again but they need to sort it out, it’s not fit for purpose right now.

Saints keen to avoid defeat for a number of reasons but it would be the first time they’ve lost 10 away league matches in a row since 1973/74!
Brighton are also the only team still unbeaten when conceding the first goal in a Premier League match this season, which bodes well.

Being the best player the academy produces in a generation certainly helps regardless of how long one is here! The names are to inspire the next youngsters as they eat and study, not necessarily indicative of what they did in a Saints shirt. Anyone graduating to be worth £ is a success.
