For those curious, the statue of a pioneer family dubbed "The Promised Land" formerly of Portland's Chapman Square has left town.
The statue was taken down after being vandalized in 2020.
According to the city, it was returned to the artist who made it in Enterprise, OR earlier this month.

New PDX city org chart just dropped. Some things worth following:
-Budget office no longer overseen by the city's Chief Financial Officer
-Parks & arts are no longer in the same service area (this was something hard fought to keep together by previous council)
-Comms staff restructure
-Budget office no longer overseen by the city's Chief Financial Officer

For those curious (and for those tragically online today), here's how Portland City Hall council chambers will be remodeled to fit a 12-person council body come 2025:
The group tasked with deciding where to draw Portland's district lines has narrowed it down to one map: Alder, the map that pulls Sellwood/Eastmoreland in with west of the Willamette River. The commission will decide between this map & a slightly tweaked version of this map at a mtg next week.
