Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film Bugonia starring Emma Stone was shot in 1.50:1, which is 3:2 — same ratio as a classic 35mm camera. If you aren’t familiar with Greek filmmaker Lanthimos, he's an accomplished photographer as well as one of Hollywood’s hottest directors. petapixel.com/2025/11/10/b...

A fitting tribute to a legendary composer whose music has defined generations of cinema. His scores have not only elevated films, but have also become a part of our collective cultural memory. I stopped using Instagram yrs ago: "If there’s anything that I realized a long time ago, it’s that Instagram really isn’t Photography. It’s content delivery, and photographers that really respect the artform and their own work shouldn’t think of it as more." www.thephoblographer.com/2025/11/05/d...

AI-powered noise reduction and with a camera's internal computational tech, it's almost like you don’t even need a camera anymore. You can literally speak a photo into existence—taking credit for it. I'm conflicted with Ai. There's a lot to like and dislike about it.

I cannot imagine Anna Wintour would have selected this image for the cover of VOGUE USA. We'll have to blame Chloe Malle. It looks like an IPhone shot using some kind of computational HDR and edited in Canva. Not good. Sorry, Annie.
