I’m not mentioning the other details because they don’t appear in this article, but they would’ve made it impossible for any lay person, let alone a doctor, not to notice that something was catastrophically wrong.

Honestly can’t think of many things more humiliating than being individually scolded by the MTS text-to-speech voice in front of a full bus. Intentionally or because of a bug, it played twice, so the second Spanish caption was still scrolling like a full minute later.

Someone took forever to get their PRONTO card out last night and the operator waited until the guy finally scanned it and was going to sit down while we were all watching and then had the TTS voice make an announcement about having fare ready when boarding.

This is a really well-crafted response. You dodged the state police issue very subtly, 8.5/10. You lose points for not realizing how significantly outflanked you are given that we have crowds of white suburbanites chanting to abolish a federal law enforcement agency.

By "blatant misinformation", I mean claims that can be debunked with the first paragraph on wikipedia, the DSM definition of the condition, and the introduction section of every paper written about the condition over the last century. The ads only exist to funnel people to supplement mills.

That's why they did it. bsky.app/profile/samd...
the thing that upsets me about this the most is that Dems had all the momentum, republicans were reeling, and we were getting intra-GOP fighting over the filibuster, all while voters were blaming republicans for their incompetence
this destroys all of this. just a total gut punch

I haven’t watched this so I might be repeating examples he used, but we’ve had some bad police chases in San Diego recently. Cops were chasing a 16 year old going 100 in a 40 and he ran into another cop car and killed the cop. Driver being chased on a highway rear-ended a minivan and killed 2 kids.
