Plant circadian biology at Department of Plant Sciences University of Cambridge.
In beautiful Lubeck, Germany. Today I am presenting at the training day for the European Biological Rhythms Society 2025 meeting. I hope at least one of the ECR are interested in plant clocks, or I will have a lonely afternoon. Thursday I will present Basi Teng's nice models of entrainment.

Visiting Oxford. Wanted to see what it is like in the dark blue zone. They really do punt from the wrong end. I always thought that was a joke but here is the evidence.

Aleks from Vertical Future looking a little concerned before his parabolic flight tomorrow with our autonomous agriculture unit designed for ISS. This is an outcome of a grant from @ukspaceagency.bsky.social which I had the joy of participating with many partners in @plants4space.bsky.social

Loving this white board in the Plant Sciences library here in Cambridge. The undergrads showing very impressive knowledge and skills and cuteness all in one place. DNA analysis pipeline (?), molecules and cute cats "meow"

Enjoyed sneak preview of #Cambridge #Botanic Gardens winter lights courtesy of @beverleycubg.bsky.social . Me next to a time lapse of Linneas' floral clock, right next to the #circadian beds, part of the circadian trail. Come to Cambridge and learn all about #plant clocks. Enjoy the winter lights. 🧪

I had a wonderful time at the Korean Society for Plant Biology Meeting. Such great science and lots of exciting young scientists coming through. Such a shame the UK does not have an equivalent meeting #plantscience
