Art studio pro is another great alternative. One time pay and it feels a bit more like photoshop than procreate does.

Give it time to become a habit and it’ll feel great! Do lots of rear delt exercises to combat the repetitive motion of drawing/painting. The hardest part is keeping it consistent with the kids haha.
