It's horrifying to realise that Trump enjoys people being hurt, arrested, and put in prison on his command. I think that for him, it's a demonstration of power, and it's also a statement:
"I'm the winner, and I am superior to you. And you are the losers."
Does anyone know what made him this way?

I am convinced he enjoys the very thought of inflicting pain on others.
Listening and watching the manner in which he speaks on the subject is sadistic. He tries to come across in a way that he believes is socially the normal way but the opposite is the result.
