As a mental health worker in a right-leaning community, I see this a lot. I find being crass but playful (rather than careful and serious) helps create connection with more paranoid folks. But that’s so hard to convey through formal care like policy or medicine…

It’s one of his poetry collections!This one’s also kinda journal-style; he’ll write a dark and wonderful poem, and then on the next page write another dark and wonderful poem about how the last poem is garbage and he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Marginally less unhinged than Beautiful Losers
