The curse of the bracelet allows the one inside to swap with the one outside. If the two are of the same species, then changes between the two stick. Which is why Rick ends up large most of the time: Resh is the one inside.

When you go out on a heist, make sure that you bring something to hold the loot in. Otherwise, you might have to use your partner to hold everything, as Felix demonstrates.
