Final Fantasy XV. I hated the fetch-quests, the "bros road trip" dynamic, the slow, politic-y storyline that I kept forgetting because side-missions... I abandoned it in chapter 7.

Gods yes. I'm a SAHM and spend a fair bit of time in housewife and homesteading spaces - I see people circling that awful pipeline/drain all the time, and I want to scream at them to wake up and engage the brain that I'm sure they still have somewhere. It rarely works though.

Absolutely right. My A-level English Lit coursework was on 1984, Brave New World and The Handmaid's Tale, comparing and contrasting the different systems of control in each. It's now impossible for me not to see it when it happens in real life, and I'm so grateful for that education.
