It's a burden no one who hasn't been through can really understand. I lost my father at 12 and my mother at 14 so I didn't have to take care of the estate, but just the messed of dynamic of dealing with everyone elses surprise grief, while dealing with your own grief is incredibly hard.

Sorry to welcome you to "the loneliest club in the world", which is maybe the perfect description of it.
The loss of a beloved parent too soon, is a hole in you that never heals. That level of unquestionable, unconditional, love and connection can't be replaced. You just learn to live with it. 😥
