Most of these have been pleasant enough (again, lucky!). The worst was a company that first required six rounds of interviews and then one of the most extensive edit tests I've seen. If I passed the last round, I would've needed to do two ~additional~ interviews... which what tf are we doing here?

I have applied to somewhere around 200 jobs since May and have had a whopping eight callbacks. I consider myself "lucky" — I know people have applied to twice that many and gotten zero response, despite being experienced and well-connected
