For my birthday I was given a candle that smells like petrichor. So today the inside of my house smells like the outside. A remarkable thing, but perhaps not a candle to burn in advance of visits from potential home buyers.

Black pepper is not a substitute for white pepper, and vice versa. For example, you can’t make a good meat and potato pie without white pepper. But you can’t make cacio e pepe without black pepper.
