FWIW: The day of Tobin’s game (5/13/42) was quite warm (in the 80s in the afternoon) with strong winds (up to 18 mph). But Tobin - a knuckleballer known as “Old Ironsides” - was a legit power threat (17 homers in his career) and his homers were described as prodigious. Great detail from SABR bio:
