Yup. What I want, was almost there on FB... the connections, the stories, the sharing.... the community. But then it became a way to make money... and to screw folks out of money. Not sure how this is supposed to change.

Exactly. It is the same sort of feeling that I found overwhelming on Twitter. Worse, I feel like folks are trying to 'game' the system. Not sure this is going to be meaningful in the long run.
