I'm not Alex, duh, and I don't know him, but he rules and so I'm gonna post news about him here. That's the plan!
'Infinity Pool' stayed with me for days, and this wonderful article delves into why and how so beautifully - highly recommended: www.brightwalldarkroom.com/2024/01/31/w... from Travis Woods, on the excellent Bright Wall/Dark Room site.
White-Sand Brain Death: Infinity Pool’s travel guide to the death drive
Infinity Pool is a synesthetic kaleidoscopia of narcotic dread, a mesmeric tour map into the nature of human identity and the death drive that motors it, defines it, obliterates it.

Alexander's exec producing and starring in an Apple TV+ adaptation of 'Murderbot' 🫣 (based on Martha Wells’ book series, which has won various Hugos and Nebula awards over the years). Intriguing, especially as David Goyer is involved (promising in that Chris and Paul Weitz are writing/directing).

Alexander Skarsgard, Eiza Gonzalez, Sarah Paulson and Sharon Horgan are among the actors joining stars Donald Glover and Maya Erskine.

Oooh, so, 'The Pack' (Alex to direct & star in) - screenplay is written by Rose Gilroy (up-'n-coming screenwriter, lists Jordan Peele & Aaron Sorkin as influences). Screenwriting totes in her genes (her uncle is Tony Gilroy of 'Michael Clayton' & 'Andor' fame; uncle Dan wrote 'Nightcrawler').
