#COP30 is already in overtime. New tools for countries to work together on accelerating actual action - not just pledges - are on the table.

Ministers wanting more ambitious pathways to accelerate just, orderly transitions are pushing for more.

EU asserting a strong force for global climate cooperation in the face of President Trump's decision to again withdraw the US from the Paris Agreement.
Despite this setback, we remain committed to working with the US and our international partners to address the pressing issue of climate change. The science is clear: every incremental increase in global temperatures will come with enormous costs, economically, socially but also in human lives.
