Massive Glossy Ibis arrival reaches Britain and Ireland
A huge Glossy Ibis influx is currently under way across Britain and Ireland, with large flocks appearing across a wide area. The arrival breaks all modern records for the species, which has been rapidly increasing across Western Europe in recent years and bred in Britain for the first time in 2022. Meet the osprey 🦅

Once reduced to just a single breeding pair in Scotland, this species is slowly expanding its range again with over 200 pairs now calling Britain home.
