Gov. Lamont says he will *veto* HB 5002, the broad housing bill proponents say would boost affordable housing in the state.

He says he hopes to see an amended version in a special session this fall.

When we say discrepancy, here's what we mean:

Official state data shows 14,980 people voted in Cheshire in 2016. Yet add up the votes in the presidential race, and you get 15,404 votes there (or slightly more with write-ins).

Either the turnout number is off or the results are.
