Exactly. If you have to prove your point by zooming in 200% or more then there really is no difference. DF get so caught up in the minutiae they forget about the game ie. The awful Dirt 5.

Not only that it's also about about the childhood of the products at Disney. In the 80s we saw a lot of 50s movies. Now a ton of 80s based ones. That's where a lot of the enthusiasm comes from imo.

One problem is the USA has a you can eat it until it's proved bad for you whilst in the UK at least it's "you can't put that in food until it's proven safe".

Long before the Bethesda RPGs you could collect all the goblets etc and drop them in a single room. Of course that would absolutely tank the frame rate. I had it on c64, not a wise move :-)

This was a time when British dci fi films and British films as a whole were in the doldrums. All low budget and crap and able to gain funding. I think that especially played on people's desperation for something, anything that gave them hope. And that guy (whoever he was) took huge advantage.
