Weirdly, I also decided to start my first Death Stranding play through after hearing so much about it. Incredibly similar tone to the novel I had just put down, GORGEOUS game but slightly uncanny and disturbing.

Maybe the book put me in the right headspace to enjoy the serene gameplay.
