I've just now finished a painting that I've been working on for months, if not a year or more. Landscapes are daunting for me. This is Midhope Castle in Scotland, "Lallybrach" for Outlander fans. Time to move on to my next project . . .

I've been in a lull with my painting for a while now. I've finally gotten past it and this is my first painting to complete in a long while. To get past the lull, I decided to copy this Rembrandt. It's actually a close-up of a painting he did of his mother.

This is my first post. I thought I'd start with something near my heart, my art. This is a painting I did after visiting Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris. It's called "All That's Left".
