Sort of a fix for the missing w in the last post.
It was 100% right idea to 3d-print the prototype before committing to machining the parts out of metal. Next revision fixes at least 3 errors, and potentially improves usability significantly.

Now I understand why amazon sells ink in 1 L bottles.

Now I understand why amazon sells ink in 1 L bottles.
The first observation is significantly more generous ink deposition compared to what I was used to. I don't have any bottled ink at the moment, so I cannibalized a spare Pilot cartridge, and pretty much instantly used up this volume of ink with 8 and 10 mm nib pens. About 2 pages of text (A4).
