It's hard to argue against this pardon being scandalous when compared with "pre-2016" norms. However, after Brexit, Trump being elected twice, and January 6th, it's reassuring to see one of the two sides stop pretending to play chess when the other thinks this is an MMA cage match. Norms are dead.
