I really wouldn’t want to be a politician on either side.
If you represent the disturbed you’d have to consider:
How much does it cost to enforce a ban? who are you legislating against? Kids mainly! Why are they playing music? What will they do instead if not allowed?
I think it’s not worth it..

First time I hear about this and somehow I thought this is about busking but obvs it isn’t. Or is it a little bit and would that be the next thing that’s banned?
I use London public transport often and the amount of times I encounter it is minimal and even less the amount of times it annoys me.
