I've been making a new series of algorithmic and generative artworks that exemplify techniques I've used for many of my art projects. They run in your browser and can be bought as NFT's on the objkt marketplace. Over half have sold so far. Take a look at the collection here

Spent the weekend writing a new tool that implements an algorithm I designed in 2011 for an interactive artwork that would go on to be shown at Tate Modern in 2013. In this new work the marks are drawn by hand using a pen & tablet, and the algorithm does the blending and dripping #generativeart #wip

For the record, I am not going to walk on that roof, and furthermore, I would advise anyone thinking about walking on that roof to not walk on that roof. It's just too dangerous.

I took a photo of this lichen. I asked it what its social media account was, so I could tag it. It said it didn't have one and could I go away and just let it get on with its business. Turns out lichens aren't very friendly and don't want social media exposure.

I looked at this artwork reflected in another artwork and saw less of both of them.

A sensor glitch wasting water. I observed it, appreciated it, recorded it, so for 37 seconds it wouldn't be a waste, it would be a performance, a memory that I can share. I couldn't stop it and had to leave it clicking and running even as the lights went out.

Is BlueSky just another numbers game, where follower counts are the meaningful metric? Doesn't it feel like a crucial moment to re-evaluate what we want out of these social mediation platforms? Perhaps AI could rank profiles based on quality of content, rather than quantity of followers?
