The federal government hasn’t been able to provide real answers for a while but what’s stopping states? Washington state could have done single payer and an enriched entitlement program easily. But nobody wants to own real change.

So a non-technical, dime store Lex Luthor fired a bunch of engineers for not learning AI. I dunno Brian, maybe trust your employees to know what apps to use. I really hope that some engineers copy proprietary Coinbase data into Grok and it bites you in the ass.

It is important in future elections for Dems to do the following:
1. Don't worry about how you're going to pay for things. If it doesn't matter to the GOP, it shouldn't matter to Dems.
2. Make sure that any big change you promise comes with the caveat that it will be hard to get through Congress.

Today is a great day to call your congressperson or senator to ask about when they'll be having a town hall now that Congress is in recess for the summer. Must be nice getting so much time off. Wish the American people could get some of that!

I'm not a journalist or a lawyer but is there a legal difference between saying that someone "falsely claimed" vs saying that someone "lied" because if I see another headline or lede that says former when they should just say the latter, I'm gonna start yelling at some clouds.

Maybe after creating an age ceiling for politicians there should be a wealth ceiling. Congress and the White House shouldn’t just be for millionaires and billionaires. In fact given how little they figure into the population they probably shouldn’t be making decisions for the rest of us anyway.

All this talk about a baby bust (pushed by Vance et al) is wild to me. We have how many folks on earth? I think we’re doing ok on the baby front. What they’re really afraid of is a lack of workers in the US causing a need for…immigration to spike.

Hopefully after this awful bill throws millions off of their insurance the Dems will realize that the ACA was a bandaid and just pass single payer. Kill the filibuster if you have to. Just start passing progressive policies. Make the GOP look like the villains they are.
