The issue is that aussie farmers won’t be exporting mince, they’ll be exporting the steaks - which are a smaller % of a cow by weight, but a higher % by value. If Aussie steaks are always cheaper, then british steaks, British beef farmers probably aren’t going to be profitable

Compare the price of the menu to Hawksmoor, sure Hawksmoor have 100 pound steaks but they also have 3 course set menu for 34 vs cotes 27.5. this is why the midmarket is struggling they are being squeezed by better restaurants above and places like honest burger and Franco manca below

Surely it’s just going to get deducted from the price - eg a car less than three years old is worth 33.3 quid less for every 1000 miles on the clock ?

It’s just very measurable depreciation.

They’ve got the key part of this headline the wrong way around, if there were 19 public chargers for each of the 1.3m EVs in the U.K. - we’d be tripping over them everytime we left the house.

The clue that this is bullshit is that most Californians start a conversation with “so are you guys Australian”

There are numerous services which summarise contracts, or review third party due diligence. I think we are a long way from companies guaranteeing this, without people in the middle. Presumably products like this today don’t make any guarantees ?

Does anyone have a theory on what “our side of the ledger” means ?

I’m not sure I like the look of this scooby doo remake.

It’s worth adding that most of the jobs created at datacenters are relatively low skilled cabling, power and hvac jobs.

Perhaps nick and dom think that Demis H works in a datacenter ?

Businesses want datacenters where they are lowest cost with the greatest reliability.

Yes, no one monitoring the time of his tweet will download them every minute and add a timestamp. That definitely won’t happen.
