Fun.
Fun.
Part 1 - fun and straight forward
Part 2 - ???? (I guess we're looking for a bell curve)

... better late than never ... damn that took some maths

Part 2 was hard, took some (more than some) trial and error, and error, and error, and ... and then finally giving up and seeing how others solved it because my brain just refused to go on 😭😭

TIL a valuable AOC lesson; if they ask for something to run N times in part 1, they will ask for it >N times in part 2, where part 2 N is too damn big for your naive algorithm from part 1

That was really fun, I made part two way too hard for myself when in the end all I needed was a .copy() on the visited set 😅😭

If you asked me to get back into the flow state required to solve pt 2 of this, I think it would take me just as long as solving it anew ... wonder if a real defrag algo is anything like this

Love me a math problem! Had to figure out how to generate my operator combinations in Python but once that was done it was smooth sailing.

This was the most fun yet, I love simulation problems ... my part two solution is painfully slow, am curious how other people solved it 🤔
