I get why ppl want to spray for mosquitos — it seems easy and they’re awful. But, in reality, it hurts way more than it helps.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think we should be indiscriminately wiping out all insects around us during the age of mass species extinction.
Hundreds of monarch butterflies died in a winter 2024 event. Investigation implicated multiple pyrethroid insecticides:
