Spent the evening re-making my Corsi-Rosenthal box. The furnace filters last about a year, so every August, I tear it apart and rebuild it with new filters. Took me about 90 minutes and an entire roll of duct tape. #WorthIt
A Corsi-Rosenthal Box, also known as a carpenter’s air filter, sits on a wood floor in the corner of a dining room. The box is made from 4 ordinary furnace filters taped in a square with a 20 inch box fan on top, sealed with duct tape. It’s a very cheap, yet extremely effective air cleaner for the home. My box is 20x20x25 inches, (50x50x63 cm) and I glued googly eyes on the front of it to give it a little personality.

Yesterday, @zzclaybourne.bsky.social and I had an hour-long writing sprint, ate pizza, and binged all of Murderbot S1 like hacked entertainment feeds. Did we check the perimeter? Not even once.

On Saturday, I was at A Rally of Writers in Lansing, Michigan, giving talks, signing books, and serving looks.
