I just read on Reddit that one of the signs of an amateur author is starting the book with the main character, a female, standing in front of a mirror, assessing the size of her breasts, and reflecting on how she's different from other women.

A thing I learned about writing a book today: in an economy with unlimited supply, it's impossible to sell your product. Nowadays, there are too many books and too few people who want to read them. The same is probably applicable to content creation in general.
