My Article, Kennedy v. Louisiana and the Future of the Eighth Amendment is out now in the Pepperdine Law Review. This article addresses the new state laws that expand capital punishment to the rape of a child in violation of Kennedy v. Louisiana.

Send some good thoughts our way. Rory, our beloved 12yo dog, is having surgery today to remove a growth on her paw. They’re going to biopsy the growth. She’s generally very healthy, so we’re hoping all will go well and that the growth isn’t serious.
