Honestly, I was so conflicted about the previous entry that I couldn't let the challenge end on that note...and I'm glad I chose this to wrap things up.
Fun time here, a nice exercise program with a fun horror vibe!

Kinda conflicted on this. Really good film, directed by someone that's turned out to be a garbo human being (to say the least). So, I'll leave it at "I liked the film" and move on lol

Almost surprisingly, I quite liked this...though I kinda wish they'd made it a series instead, considering the general shift in style, the pacing, and the way they handled the ending.
Ah well, this was good at least.

Why not? Why shouldn’t I crack on past 100 with a trip to the movies?
This was a thrill ride from start to finish, with the right mix of jump scares and a looming sense of dread. Hell of a story to see unfold, for that matter!

A curious entry to round out the 100 for the challenge. I enjoyed this nod to late-night TV specials and the commitment to the bit (the commercials!), just don't expect dark twists here like WNUFHS and OTHMT!

Oh boy, this was an interesting one. In some ways a prequel, in others very much a sequel, this did a really nice job expanding the backstory on the franchise as things unfolded here!

I had a good time, even if the ending had me going "don't we know where this goes eventually?" 😂
With that, I get to finally say goodbye to the Conjuring Universe as a whole...at least until the prequel comes out.

First and foremost, WOW. I wasn't expecting to see as much of Christiane's actual face (and the subsequent attempted surgery) as I did, expected a lot of clever editing around that instead. Anyway, this was great!

Not enough room over here to make the Patrick Wilson joke I made on my Letterboxd review. Ah, well.
Loved this tbh, really nice way to wrap up the mainline series. Scary and heartwarming.

Really fascinating sci-fi film (just scary enough in spots to be gateway horror!), and I finally get the hype I'd seen for this. Fun movie throughout.
I'm a lil shocked this came *after* Space Mountain opened, tho 😂

It's funny watching this after seeing both of the Creep films...cause this feels like a mix of those and Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon lol. Really liked seeing how this played out, bit of a trip this was!

A nice lil comedy (and vaguely frightful, for that matter) with one of my faves in the starring role, tho I will admit the twist so close to the end saved me from worrying this ended on a down note lol

This turned out to be a fun time. Liked the story/plot to this, was an interesting way of bringing certain threads from the first two together to a conclusion. Nice way to close this trilogy.
...oh wait

As far as late 70s family-friendly TV movies with a sliver of scary moments go, this was pretty fun! This was a nice example of how Wonderful World of Disney had a variety of film styles and tones during that era.

A really nice way to bring this Fear Street trilogy to a close. I have one minor gripe, and that is simply that I wish this was a series...but as a trilogy of films it was fine.
This film was especially good!

Finally checking out a documentary for the challenge, and found this intriguing for sure. I still remember the buzz about what could've been if Romero handled that project, I did like what we got but...damn, lol

Aw, baby Norman Reedus...(I haven't seen Boondock Saints yet, cut me some slack lol)
Anyway, I quite enjoyed this morsel of horror. Nice premise, fun seeing things unfold from start to end!

Uhhh...Tobe Hooper makes a Rob Zombie film. This was alright for what it was, I liked it well enough but wish it went bigger than its original scope of roughly an hour lol

I don't have the space to fit all my thoughts on this one in a single post, nor will I be doing a thread. In short, this is up there as one of my favorite films ever (horror or otherwise). Lovely stuff here from start to end.

Other sequels have received such remarks as "Aliens to Alien" and "28 Weeks Later to 28 Days Later" but this feels more like Grave Encounters 2 to the first HH's Grave Encounters 😂
I liked it overall, tho!

This ended up being a really good time, both for the scares and the emotional weight of its plot throughout. Actually quite looking forward to seeing how the rest of the upcoming trilogy plays out!

Really enjoyed this one, thought it stood out well on its own with the "summer camp slasher" vibe while also doing a good job furthering the overarching plot of the trilogy!

Beginning what will end up being this challenge's equivalent of the Thin Man series. Fun use of found footage style, liked the mix of scares throughout for a thrill ride from start to finish!
