After Lashawn Thompson was eaten alive by bed bugs in the Fulton County Jail, Sheriff Labat asked for and received $5 mill to address jail conditions. The only problem? The company he hired to decontaminate the jail specifically says in its contract that it doesn’t treat lice and bed bugs.
