251/825: AQUAMAN: YO-HO-HOLD ONTO YOUR HOOK! #19 (2025)

Raucous cantina debauchery this issue taking full advantage of the bonkers premise of “DC Comics but they’re all pirates.”

Wait a minute… @losthiskeysman.bsky.social is this all a Watchmen riff? You have to tell me so I can stop reading now.

I cannot compare you to a fictional character because you’re your own archetype to me

250/825: BATMAN: WAYNE FAMILY ADVENTURES EP. 162 (2025)

Yes, that’s my reaction whenever I see Lady Shiva, too

I think there were probably other ways to handle this scene while still keeping this series’ central concept of family at the forefront, by demonstrating Shiva is not that. She is Shiva.

The best thing about James Gunn is that Kevin Smith is no longer the main Celebrity DC Fan

That was Firefly, not Killer Moth

Spoken like a man who’s never read Secret Six

249/825: BATMAN: WAYNE FAMILY ADVENTURES EP. 161 (2025)

Has any Batman character fallen farther than Killer Moth? This guy was first introduced as Batman’s equal on the side of villainy. Now he mostly hangs out with Firefly, as the guy who DOESN’T have a flamethrower. I’d be mad at Batgirl too.

248/825: BATMAN: WAYNE FAMILY ADVENTURES EP. 160 (2025)

Tim Drake is a character I don’t really get, unless writers who really care about Tim Drake a lot are behind him. To me, in the Chuck Dixon source text, he’s just your 90s White Boy. But the secondhand roles assigned to him are interesting.
