Everyone’s journey is different and obviously I don’t truly know you but I do hope you get some relief soon. One thing that’s helped me a lot is taking magnesium glycinate before bed. It has helped regulate my cortisol levels and stopped my panic attacks that I was having regularly 🖤

I can understand what your physician might mean, but the stress of becoming social is something that needs support from a mental health professional. I was nearly agoraphobic when I started going out more. It was extremely stressful. I needed meds to take the edge off so I could even try.

I am someone who used to be way more anti-social, and slowly became more social over the last 5 yrs or so. Though I can say some aspects of my mental health improved, it was not without the assistance of actual mental health services such as therapies and medication.
