Been patting myself on the back lately for improving as a runner in my late 40s then I caught up with one of my wedding ninongs last weekend who's also a runner and I learned that both his resting heart rate and VO2 max are in the 40s. Mine is 38 and 56, respectively. He's 12 years older than me.

I'm glad that Philippine politicians are likely getting away with widespread plunder again but the Clippers and probably the Knicks are gonna get punished for paying their players the amount of money they want to get paid.

Extremely late to the party post: finally saw Anora. What a movie. The first half was a drug-addled party movie, the next 40% was a Woody Allen comedy and then the last 10% was a Michael Leigh drama.
