I lost a friend once over a harmful word. I honestly didn't know how bad it was, and worked out my cognitive dissonance in realtime right there on her post and Google (while being emotionally tortured by one of her buddies for my ignorance). She took her buddy's side hating on me.The word was tribe.

Good thing I'd already decided to vacate that platform. I've already begun that massive transition. Meta, and all it claims as part of it, can go masturbate with a corkscrew.
