Wow. Sorry you have to read that stuff. You are a great writer. I’ve loved your stuff from the Guardian days. As for X, I had to leave it - It was making me angry. I share your concern for the youngsters. We have to keep engaging people with longer form discussion and articles.

Given our problems in midfield, is it likely we will go into the market in Jan? Can you give some examples of the type of player you think we need. Wally excluded, of course!

Is Mariona undroppable? She’s a fantastic player, but seems very low on confidence and her ball retention has been very bad this season, inviting pressure at times. She’s my favourite player btw!

Most liklely, but we needed breadth and depth which we now have. That wasn't achievable with an Isak signing for us, so there's no spilt milk for me. We have done exactly what we needed to do and we have avoided what we didn't. Always forward.
