I've always been out of touch but it really does feel like supposedly major stars are popping into existence overnight. What is a Benson Boone. Aren't the Doechii a Celtic tribe the Romans wiped out

It's never healthy to deify artists, and going off his (auto)biography he was a difficult man with some strange relationships with women, but David Lynch really felt like a conduit to some other reality, relaying visions from beyond the veil in a unique and irreplaceable way.

We'll never see someone like David Lynch again.

It's a travesty that we never got an "Anakin becomes a darts celebrity" plotline in Clone Wars.

Babylon 5 has been slow to get going, but Walter Koenig as an evil black-leather-clad BDSM telepath is a big step forward.

[Nicholas Meyer directing Christopher Plummer in Star Trek VI] yeah just spin around in your space chair cackling and quoting any Shakespeare that comes to mind

This Odyssey discourse has made me realise that as a Series of Unfortunate Events kid (sophisticated, pretentious), I must regard Percy Jackon kids (basic, uninspiring) as the enemy

Growing up is moving past merely finding Gromit relatable and realising you outright hate that piece of shit Wallace.

The Adventures of Tintin is so great. Spielberg, liberated to do absolutely anything he wants with his camera, location, lighting and staging, immediately goes full sicko mode and it rules

They've still got to land it, but all signs are pointing to a Wallace and Gromit classic here. First since 2005?
