Molly and I accidentally made the national paper, the New Zealand Herald. Because it has been raining a lot here and our poor neighbours who have just built a new house had a slip. It is between our house and the tennis court where Molly likes to chase the ball.

It is practical to have an electric car in New Zealand. I drove a 2019 Nissan Leaf from Lyttelton to Gentle Annie‘s on the West Coast and back. It cost $90 in charging (much cheaper than the petrol equivalent) and I was never close to having range anxiety. Last year I drove to the Catlins and back.

I’m getting into an argument with Amazon about an update to my book, Their review team has been taken over by robots. They are taking issue with an illustration that is covering text that could cause “manufacturing issues“. Fair enough. Except it’s an ILLUSTRATION.
