Same experience. In my wider social group ( 50s and 60s), even those who are still saying they'd vote ReformaTory are caveating with things like "They say/do some pretty stupid (bad) things, but I'll still probably vote for them". I guess it's Thatcher's "no society, individuals only" voter bubble?

I mean one percent difference in between combined 'unfavourables' and three percent between combined 'favourables' serms neither here nor there. Could even be within a margin of error. What strikes me as interesting is how CLOSE TradCon and Labour sentiment is.

It's a bit of a damned if they do damned if they don't scenario. I can well imagine the 'outcry' from reform et al for labour "wasting taxpayer money" on elections when the existing administrative structures were about to be abolished and there would have to be fresh elections for the new bodies.
