Much of the recent evidence on ADHD prevalence since 2020 is low quality or outdated. Of 40 studies, only 4 had low risk of bias.

No clear 'surge', just a lack of solid data. We need better research to guide services and policy.

There has been no meaningful increase in the number of people with an #ADHD diagnosis globally since 2020, despite a surge in awareness and media stories about the condition.
