I think it’s just really technical! No amount of education changes the fact you have to train yourself to think in law’s terms and practice thinking with it a lot - there are no shortcuts. Not alone though - took me longer to get my head around constructive trusts than it did finer points of Lacan…

It is so social strata specific and weird! In my corner of London motherville it seems to be all about the ‘o’ names: Juno, Bruno, Arlo, Cleo, Margot. And hundreds of kids called Otis.

Also the material on Klines re drugs with implications for gender and sexuality and mothering is fascinating in context of development of assisted reproduction. I've been thinking a bit about how IVF hormone protocols work to 'maternalise' so will have to revisit!

Oh wow how did I miss?! "Today’s cyborg emerges instead from the intersection of recreational and productivity- enhancing psychoactives, corporate libertarianism, and space faring via public-private partnership – as well as from the counter-discourses responding to all of these." Love this!!!

For sure! Drop me a line when you get some time, a chat sounds great. I have some vague ideas I would love to be a bit less dormant about registers of hormonal intoxication, but have only got as far as an abstract for now
