Now let me be clear, the jury’s decision doesn’t shield him from deportation.

it’s a place I never thought I would care about at all; and now I realize the VALUE in what happens here and how much I love it. I’ve built relationships with sources & people that I couldn’t bear to leave. So if you’re wondering why local journalists go, or why they stay, maybe consider all this.
